The border is adorned with handiwork of Jarkan,
beads ,kundan and Zardosi.
Ghunghat has a zardosi border with side butas and Taj in the Centre of ghunghat on a net base .
Kurta has a zardosi double border and a matching pair of juti Batwa.
Golden trimmings with stone embellishment on both sides of the borders give an antique touch to the royal ensemble. Front and back panels are embellished by handmade borders which are adorned with zardosi embroidery.
What is Khadadupaatta ?
Khadadupaatta is the traditional wedding dress worn by Hyderabadi Muslim brides in the Indian subcontinent.It is an elaborate wedding ensemble comprising of kurta ,chooridar (long slim pants that gather at the ankles), and a 6-yard dupatta.
The dupatta is draped with the very top part of the middle of the dupatta tucked into the back of the chooridaar. The dupatta is folded accordion pleats at both ends, which are held in place on the left shoulder with a broach .The free ends of the dupatta are worn under the right shoulder and over the inside of the right elbow.
